The print version of this summer's Tidal Basin Review is now available. It happens to carry a poem I wrote, last winter: "Night Voyage". Copies HERE. (once there, click the "Order Your Copy Here" link).

I've also happily placed a poem with an publisher, in a book due out this fall: Flatmancrooked's Slim Volume of Contemporary Poetry, edited by Josh Neely and Mary Karr. The poem is titled "The Karloff Egg". More information on that, as a date is fixed.

I'll be appearing in two places, this summer, presenting academic papers about the lyrics and films of Bob Dylan.

The first is the Double Dialogues conference at Victoria College, at the University of Toronto, from Aug. 19–21. This paper is about Dylan's interactions with food in the film Hearts of Fire.

The second is in England, at the University of Winchester, where they are holding a multidisciplinary conference titled Song Stage Screen V, the weekend of September 3–5. I'll be presenting a paper about the soundtrack of the film Don't Look Back, in relation to the cue-cards sequence of its opening and the song "Subterranean Homesick Blues".
